House Rules
Tag your base on every post. Let people know where you are on the Success Path — On Deck, First Base, Second Base, Third Base, or Home. It helps coaches and other members give you the most relevant response.
Be specific. The more detail you give, the better the help you get. "My daughter is struggling with outside pitches" is hard to answer. "My daughter is 13, Second Base, and is early-extending on outside fastballs even after drilling Right Now timing — here's a clip" gets a real answer fast.
Attach clips when you're asking about swing issues. SwingAI screenshots, phone video, whatever you have. Coaching without video is guesswork. Video makes every conversation more useful for everyone.
Mechanics-first language stays outside. We don't talk about fixing hip rotation, hands, or bat path as the starting point here. If you've come from a mechanics-first background — and most of us have — that's fine. We'll help you make the shift. But this community is a timing-first space, and the conversations stay that way.
No question is too basic. The Right Now methodology is counterintuitive to almost everything taught in mainstream baseball and softball instruction. If something doesn't make sense yet, ask. That's what the halls are for.
Celebrate wins loudly. Take a good at-bat to the Wins & Breakthroughs hall. Share what clicked. Your breakthrough is someone else's lightbulb moment.
Coaches and parents — you belong here too. The community isn't just for players. If you're implementing timing-first with a team or trying to explain it to a skeptical travel ball parent, the Coaching Box and the halls are here for you.
This is a no-ego zone. Everyone here is at a different point in the process. Beginners, veterans, parents, coaches — all welcome. Leave the judgment at the door.
Stay on topic. Keep conversations tied to hitting, player development, and the EV methodology. This isn't a general baseball forum.
No bashing other instructors or programs. We focus on what works here, not what doesn't work somewhere else.
Respect the community. Treat everyone the way you'd want someone treating your kid. That's the standard.
A note on coach replies
I monitor the halls daily and respond to flagged questions within 48 hours. If you want to make sure your post gets a direct response, tag it as a Question and attach any relevant video. The Coach Reply posts are marked with a green border so they're easy to spot in the feed.
